The reflective material measures 10"L x 1 3/8"W, and is stitched together with an additional 4" of elastic stretch material. It is also available in a smaller size for a child's arm or an adults ankle, measuring 8"L with an additional 2" of elastic stretch material.Wearing a reflective arm or leg band is an inexpensive way to enhance visibility when out at night. Even if wearing a vest, note that many reflective vests do not have reflective tape on the sides and an arm band is a must.
